The Bowie Playhouse is owned and operated by the City of Bowie and is home to four groups: Bowie Community Theatre, 2nd Star Productions, Prince George's Little Theatre (PGLT) and the Annapolis Shakespeare Company. It is a 150 seat indoor theater and has been in operations since 1975 and renovated in 2008. It operates year round and offers plenty of free parking at the nearby White Marsh Park.
The recent renovation has ensured that the Playhouse is handicap accessible, and amplification devices are available for hearing impaired patrons. If you require special accommodations to attend a show, please feel free to contact the BCT hotline at (301) 805-0219 to ensure we're prepared for your arrival at our performance.
