Exhibition - A Woman?s Year
Aligned with the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment which gave women the right to vote, Gov. Larry Hogan has declared 2020 the Year of the Woman in Maryland. “Our state’s history has been shaped by extraordinary women leaders, and our administration remains committed to empowering and advocating for women in Maryland,” said Governor Hogan at a kickoff event in Annapolis. “I look forward to the many events taking place statewide to commemorate the Year of the Woman.” The artists at calvART Gallery join Maryland’s celebration with this theme show recognizing and celebrating women.
