The annual Sandy Spring Museum Strawberry Festival is Mid-county’s biggest, tastiest, and most entertaining event.  Back for its 41st year, this two-day, fun-filled community party brings together the young and the young-at-heart for food, live music, crafts, and kid-friendly activities, all in a joyful, carnival-like atmosphere. 

Tingle your taste buds by relishing the offerings of our region’s celebrated food trucks and indulging in the festival’s famed strawberry shortcake. Tap your toes to live music from two stages, discover your next one-of-a-kind treasure among the craft vendors, build this year’s garden at the plant sale, and best your buddies at corn hole. Have the kids ride a pony, play old-timey carnival games, and pet the animals in the mini zoo that even includes a tarantula!  Grown-ups, take the extra-special opportunity this year to sip and savor limited-edition beverages crafted by two of the Museum’s newest partners, True Respite Brewery and Twin Valley Distillers; each has crafted a new drink that will debut at the festival
