One of my favorite places to visit in Maryland. I grew up visiting the Wheaton regional park, which is connected via a nice forest path. The gardens are great to visit all year round, but especially so during the spring and in the fall. One day I hope to get married on the field right by the lake. There are plenty of nice shaded areas to sit, relax and reflect.

I love brookside gardens. The whole park is really nice but the garden area is my favorite. I look forward to visiting every year especially when the flowers are full bloom. The scent of roses lingers in the air. I can't stay away.

It's a nice calming place to walk around. Looks beautiful when blooming, too. But get there early when it's nice out, it seems to be busy the few times I've been later in the day.

Nice local park. There's a small greenhouse. Worth visiting if you are within 20-30 minutes, but if you are in DC the botanical garden offers way more.

Make several trips every year to see the tulips in the spring and roses in the summer. Great place to stroll and wander. Hear there's going to be parking fee which hopefully makes it easier to find parking...
