Lansdowne High School is a dynamic,
team oriented environment which provides students an opportunity to
choose personalized career learning experiences and explore leadership
opportunities. Students choose a career pathway from one of our
Academies: Arts & Communication, Health & Human Services,
Science, Engineering & Information Technology and Finance. Students
in the Finance Academy may choose a college-preparatory course of study
meeting the requirements of the National Academy of Finance.
Lansdowne High believes in building a partnership of
teachers, students and community members. Lansdowne High School
provides students the opportunity to develop and demonstrate their
academic and vocational skills including opportunities for job
shadowing and internships. Students may earn college credit for AP
courses or courses taken at local colleges. Lansdowne High School
students may also choose from a variety of extra curricular sports,
clubs and activities.
Lansdowne High School provides its students with an
environment of respect and encouragement supporting the development of
skills such as problem solving, communication and decision making,
enabling students to meet the challenges posed by an ever changing and
diverse world.
