About Us

The Owings Mills Branch, Baltimore County Public Library's newest and largest branch, opened to the public on March 21, 2013 at the County Campus Metro Center at Owings Mills. The Owings Mills Branch shares the six-floor building with the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) Owings Mills, which is scheduled to open in early summer. The Owings Mills Branch occupies the building's first two floors and shares the third floor where the community meeting rooms and quiet study area are located. The 54,300-square-foot branch, overlooking a public plaza, has a collection of approximately 120,000 items and 70 computers for public use - 58 for adults and 12 for teens and children. It has group study rooms as well as teen and children's areas with computers and age-related activities. The County Campus building is a LEED Silver building.
