Sandy Spring - Sandy Spring Slave Museum and African Art Gallery

The Mission, Purpose and Objectives of the Museum are:

- To bridge the information gap and inform all ethnic groups — particularly those in Montgomery County—about the advantages of cross-cultural communication and diversity, as expressed through the arts and humanities; and

- To display the significant contributions that African/African Americans have made in the building of America.

Amazing find...and only $4, or $5 to enter! Great artifacts! There is a movie tat is a bit long, four hours to be exact. We stayed as long as we could. Who needs tickets, and travel to Washington DC?
